  • January 9th - 1st  Annual Youth Ambassador Breakfast VRF youth honor adults who volunteer to help victims of crime.          Complete Details
  • February - Groundbreaking ceremony for the Mama Sarah Obama Nursery School.  Construction will start on a school to house 30 orphan girls in Kogelo, Kenya. Invitations will go to local and Government officials in Kenya and abroad.

  • March - VRF honors law enforcement and firefighters who help victims of crime on a full time bases.

Jenny Villatoro, daughter of the homicide  victim, presented her personal plea for criminals to come forth to help  solve her father's murder.  On Tuesday, 5/27/08 at 1610 hours, at Variedades Jenny, at 618 University  Blvd. East, police report stated two Hispanic males suspects entered store.  One suspect fired a weapon at the male store employee, who subsequently died from  the gunshot wound.

Gregory Wims, Founder - Victims' Rights Foundation,  supporting the family and informing the public there is a $5,000  reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the individuals  responsible for this crime, Galo Correa Jr. of (VRF) and  Jenny Villatoro, daughter of the homicide victim Mr. Villatoro.
