In 2005, The Victims
Rights Foundation (VRF)
partnered
with the Mercy Center Foundation in Lare, Kenya to provide
infants with life saving vaccinations and food supplements.
As of today over 1,500 infants have received life saving
vaccinations. In addition to the medical care, the VRF has
provided emergency food services for over 7,000 people
during the drought of 2006. Most of the funds came
from VRF Board member Sterling Crockett, Founder of the
Sterling Crockett Food Bank. The
food bank provided food for an additional 2,000 people in
rural Kenya. In 2010, VRF will help the Mercy Center
Foundation expand the infant care program to reach more
infants.
